He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard D. Ray and Virginia "Jenny" Ray (Lilly); his son Justin David Ray; his sisters, Sue Bailey and Marilyn "Micky" Jones (Wayne); his nieces, Tyra Bailey, Suzy Rasnic and Brenda Risher; and his father-in-law Leonard Zahn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brandi Mechelle of Mountain Home, ID and Heather Marie (Chris) of Fairview, TX; his wife Brenda K. Zahn of Hutchinson; his grandchildren, Caleb Parks, Joshua Parks, Megan Fogt, Brady Fogt, Harper Ray, Briley Ray, Emma Rosenberger and Maecy Rosenberger; his sibling's children, Lori Krichati of Wichita, Ricky Kincy and Cameron Kincy; his mother-in-law Kaylene Zahn of Hutchinson; Deidra Rosenberger of Hutchinson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elliott Mortuary (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elliott Chapel (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
