We are sad to announce that, on February 15, 2024, at the age of 89, Buck J. Powell of Independence, Kansas, born in Welch, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Powell and Opal Powell (Clark); and his siblings, Verlia, Janie, Morris and Bill.
He is survived by: his wife Mable Matney; his children, Buck Powell, Chuck Powell and Lavonna Schlageck; and his brothers, Bob Powell and Dick Powell. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
