She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Royal and Mollie Lucille Calkins (Paxton); her husband Carl H. Tucker Jr.; her children, Carl Tucker III, Andrew Tucker and Rev. Stephanie Tucker; her granddaughter Danse Kyrie Porter; her siblings, Vera Johnson (Clifford), Charlotte Holliday (Howard) and Don Calkins (Tealy); and her siblings' children, Michael Calkins, Don Holliday and Mary Bradshaw.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Tucker (Elaine), Gary Tucker, Sandra Shire (Kendall), Susan Porter (Paul) and Joe Tucker (Lara); her adoptive son Ken Williams (Christine); her grandchildren, Carrie Vincent (Kevin), Amory Sweeney (Jonathan), Nathan Shire (Maya), Jennifer O'Konski (Richard), Joshua Tucker, Ivory Porter, Carl Tucker IV, Tabor Riskes, Sally Kittrell (Matt), England Porter (Nick Rau), Mary Green, Leah Davidson (Christian), Tucker Porter, Caitlin Shire, Carlie Shire, Andrew Tucker (Ane), Audrey Wright David Tucker (Cole Cranor) and Larin Do (Kahn); Karen Tucker (Carl III) of Independence.
Memorial contributions in Connie's name may be made to First Christian Church, for children to attend church camp. And may be left with the church or mailed to 319 W. Laurel, Independence, KS 67301.
