Dale M. Patton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale M. Patton of Independence, Kansas, who passed away on January 18, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Dale departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dale. Though Dale may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Patton and Pauline Patton. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Brown; his daughter Julie; his sister Paulette Womack; and his siblings-in-law, Dick, Vicki Barnes (Robert), Vanessa Murphy (John) and Andrew Brown (Sheila). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
