She was predeceased by : her parents, Forrest Howard and Elfreida Howard (Thiesen). She is survived by : her siblings, Debbie Pond and Forrest Howard Jr.; her husband Randy Hoffman; her children, Matthew Kime, Courtney Rusin (Mike), David Hoffman (Danica), Chris Hoffman (Kerri), Quentin Hoffman (Joyce) and Justin Hoffman (Kristen); her grandchildren, Rusin, Charlotte Rusin Aidan Hoffman (David), Christopher Hoffman, Ethan Hoffman Hannah Hoffman (Chris), Ryan Hoffman, Ryleigh Meier John Hoffman (Quentin), Grant Hoffman, Dean Hoffman, Hallie Hoffman Camron Hoffman (Justin) and Brody Hoffman; and her pet Roxie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to a memorial fund in Diana's name and sent to the First Southern Baptist Church of Independence Kansas.
