He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mowery and Ethel Mowery (Wiltfong); and his sister Patricia Mowery. He is survived by: his wife Carol Mowery (Keller); his daughters, Kim Dodson (Mike) and Karrie Hallett; his brother Gary Mowery; his grandchildren, Megan Dodson (Alex), Kattie Dodson (Dylon), Kacie Dodson (Cody), Morgan Wolken (Reuben), Jeremy Hallett (Bridget) and Chris Hallett (Courtney); and his nieces, Susan May and Sandra Clonch. He is also survived by great grandchildren and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Webb and Rodrick Chapel (306 W Main St, Independence, KS 67301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at the Mount Hope Cemetery.
