He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Emma Anderson (Anderson); his wife Melony Anne Meier; his father Albert Rodriguez; his siblings, Wesley and Betty "Jo" Rodriguez; and his great grandchild Dominique Chaney.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Hamlin (John) of Independence, KS, Charisse Anderson (James) of Independence, KS, Michael Anderson II (Hailey) of Independence, KS, Ashley Smith (Nick) of Coffeyville, KS, Diann Hinds (Felix) of Wichita, KS and Lynette Pena of Ponca; and his siblings, Mickey Sue Rodriguez, Bobby Rodriguez (Lou Anne) of Wichita, KS, Terry Rodriguez, Tommy Rodriguez, Toni Ramirez (Richard) of Pittsburg, KS, Tammi Rodriguez and Jakki Wade (Jeff) of Chanute, KS. He is also survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Webb & Rodrick Chapel (306 W Main St, Independence, KS 67301). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
