Travis Kelman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2025, at the age of 52, Travis Kelman of Independence, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Travis Kelman to pay them a last tribute.
Though Travis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Travis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Debby Kelman (Sanders); his aunt Dorothy Rassmussen (William); his uncle Harvey (Phyllis); and his cousin Josh Sanders. He is survived by: his father Greg Bohr; his brother-in-law Aaron Bohr; his uncle Gary Sanders (Kelli); his cousin Eric Sanders (Pam); and also Christian (Tylr). He is also survived by sons, several siblings, nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (220 S Pennsylvania Ave, Independence, KS 67301).
The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Amanda Bohr to help offset the cost of final expenses and to support animal services in Independence; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 N. Cline Rd. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
