He is survived by: his children, Brad Oakes (Tracy) and Lesley Fiser (Marty); his grandchildren, Tyson Oakes (Shannon), Kyndon Oakes (Jenny), Nate Fiser (Alisa), Jessica Melton (Derrick) and Ryan Fiser (Abbi); his great grandchildren, Brynlon Oakes, Kannon Oakes, Stetson Oakes, Bryson Frazier, Kate Fiser, Wesley Fiser, Kendall Melton, Colbie Melton, Macklin Fiser, Wynn Fiser, Faye Fiser and Wesley Nguyen-Oakes; and his great great grandchildren, Ryder Frazier and Aubrey Frazier.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Webb & Rodrick Chapel (306 W Main St, Independence, KS 67301).
