She is survived by: her husband Larry Bowman; her children, Heidi Bowman, Bret Bowman (Jerri), Jill Bowman (Micah Alton) and Kirk Bowman (Brooke); her grandchildren, Daniel, Neve Pospisil, Annalea Bowman-Lopez (Ulises), Takoda, Angelica, Liam Bowman and Adysen Norton; and her siblings, John Hefner, David Hefner (Virginia) and Barbara Hefner.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Community Church of the Brethren (1600 N Severance St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Joy Animal Sanctuary in Maize or CASA of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
