He is survived by : his children, Samuel Roots (Jules Pitchford) of Hutchinson, Matthew Roots (Tricia) of Inman and Katie Roots of New York, NY; his grandchildren, Riley Roots, Jayden Roots and Sterling Roots; and his sister-in-law Patricia People. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
