He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph N. Farmer and Della A. Farmer (Lore); his siblings, Nelson Farmer, Gilbert Farmer, Wayne Farmer, Calvin Farmer, Glenn Farmer, Dorothy Farmer and Rozella; and his son Tom.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Farmer of Laharpe, KS, Tamra Farmer (Hershey Brooks) of Wichita, KS, John Crone (Leanna Mobbs) of Stockton, CA, Trina Farmer of Iola, KS and Tonya Shaughnessy (Rick Horn) of Iola, KS; and his grandchildren, Sheryl Hill (Chase), Joshua Farmer (Ciara "Blue Hair"), Jessica "Philly" Olson (Skyler), Courtney Farmer (Mitch), Melissa Easley and Micah O'Brien (Angela). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas 66749.
