He was predeceased by: his mother Pauline W. Cole; and his brother Mark Summers. He is survived by: his wife Lori Gilbert; his daughter Kathy Brownfield (Mathew); his stepdaughter Maria Sanchez (Tommy); and his siblings, Les Summers, Lisa Burt (John) and Tracy Akin (Rodney Andres).
