With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Raymond Shannon (Iola, Kansas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail Shannon and Mabel Shannon (Torkelson); his wife Wanda Dockweiler; his brothers, Gary Shannon and Michael Shannon; his children, Susan Shannon and Doug Shannon; his son-in-law Dan Warren; and his grandson Josh Elliott.
He is survived by: his sister Deanna Sextro (Larry) of Horton; and his children, Joyce Warren of Berryton, Judy Baker (Tim) of Iola, Patrick Shannon of Iola and Peggy Voyles of Iola. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left in the care of the funeral home.
