We are sad to announce that, on March 30, 2026, at the age of 91, Sarah Jane Huskey of Iola, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sarah Jane farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sarah Jane is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sheppard and Adeline Sheppard (Nentwig); and her siblings, John Sheppard, Betty Hinson and Mary DeArmond.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Pridey, Jim Huskey (Danae), Jane Fuhrman (Mike) and John Huskey. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church or Iola Public Library, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
