As Steven departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Steven. Though Steven may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Norman Ediger and Wanetta D. Miller (Peters). He is survived by: his wife Arlene Ruth Lichty; his son Dalton (Alyssa) of Wichita; and his siblings, Ben Ediger (Pam) of Concordia and Melba Meyer (Bernie) of Colby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home (325 W 6th St, Concordia, KS 66901). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials to Cloud County Ducks Unlimited for a Lifetime Youth Hunting and Fishing License.
