Though Ernest may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ernest touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Reed and Mildred Reed (McConachie). He is survived by: his children, Tamara Zayas (Joe), Tonya Sykes (Bill), Anthony Reed (Jeannine) and Tyler Reed (Leslee). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beckwith Funeral Home (121 Bramley St, Jetmore, KS 67854).
