He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyndell Vail and Margie Vail (Henderson); his sister Janice Vail; and his stepson Jim Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Karen Brooks; his children, Lynn, Susan and Heather; his stepchildren, Diane and LaDena; and his brother Howard. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
