It is with sadness that the passing of Geneva Persinger of Johnson, Kansas is shared. Geneva, born on March 24, 1939, passed away on October 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Miller and Lena Miller (Nusser); and her husband Everett Persinger. She is survived by: her sons, David Lehman (Debbie) and Chris Lehman (Diann); her stepchildren, Joe Bob Persinger (Heidi), Kelly Dean Persinger (Kayla) and Darla Jean Leiker (Ron); her grandchildren, Melissa McNell, Rachel Lehman, Hannah Morris, Mike Lehman, Jess Kittoe, Colten Lehman, Trista Wisely, Nesha Paioletti, Jenna Payne, Kyle Doberer and Kaleb Persinger; her great grandchildren, Easton Lehman, Emma Morris, Flora Morris, Adah Reid, Emersyn Wisely, Benjamin Wisely and Addilyn Wisely; and her siblings, Laurence Miller and Esther Smith.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home (605 W North Ave, Johnson City, KS 67855). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Johnson First United Methodist Church (202 S Nipp St, Johnson City, KS 67855). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Wellsford Township Cemetery.
