He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Gordan, Theresa Gutierrez and Geraldine Lucke. He is also survived by his six granddaughters, three grandsons, sixteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Leon's memory.
