She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Switzer and Lizzie Switzer (Fegel); her husband Lawrence "Park" Myers; her children, Robert Dean, Theresa Myers and Beverly; and her siblings, Edward, Wilbur, Loren Switzer and Enid Winder.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Myers (Debra), Ed Myers (Denna), David Myers (Dinah), Bernadette Leeds, Michelle West, Kathy Schwegman (Ben) and Bill Myers (Donna). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home - Johnson Chapel (101 N Highland Ave, Chanute, KS 66720). Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church - Chanute (424 S Central Ave, Chanute, KS 66720).
Memorial contributions in Lorene's name may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
