With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Myrtle Noland of Johnson, Kansas, born in Chanute, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Myrtle left this world on June 26, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward L. Beggs and Edith M. Beggs (Eastburn); her siblings, Lauretta Beggs Rumsey, J. D. Beggs, Eugene Beggs and Lewis Beggs; and her sons, Edwin Noland and Ted Noland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shari Ratliff (Mickey Ratiff), Tari Noland and Joni Noland Baker; her grandchildren, Nick Noland, Nash Noland, Travis Ratliff, Shalee Ratliff and Heather Stout; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Yoho, Brody, Bristol Noland and Nate Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home - Johnson Chapel (101 N Highland Ave, Chanute, KS 66720). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family requests that donations be made to the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, an organization that was close to Edilee's heart.
