She was predeceased by: her parents, James Davis and Leona Davis (Stamps); her husband William Busby Sr.; her son Donald Busby I; her great grandchild Aaron Byers; and her siblings, Clarence Davis and Deloris Davis.
She is survived by: her son William Busby Jr.; her adoptive son Clif Lewis; and her siblings, DeEtta Davis, Sondra Davis, Richard Davis and Joseph Davis. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made in Phillis's name to the Westview Southern Baptist Church.
