He was predeceased by: his parents, Ennis Figgins and Marian Figgins; and his siblings, Jay Figgins and Barbara Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Figgins; his daughters, Janet Dickinson (John) of Hot Springs and Candi Copley (Dan) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Liza Zavoianu of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Anna Cerney of Savanna, Geogia, Twila Smedley of Jacksonville, Florida, Alosha Cerney of Bryant, Arkansas and David Smedley of Haviland, Kansas; his great grandchildren, Tangela Babcock (Nicholas), Devon Cerney and Naylia Dickinson; his great great grandchild Jacob Babcock; his brothers, Orville Figgins (Faye) of Johnson, KS, Richard Figgins (Diane) of Vilas, CO and Russell Figgins (Jackie) of Pueblo; and his sister-in-law Judy Figgins of Ulysses, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Homes - Johnson (605 W North Ave, Johnson City, KS 67855). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church (107 E Logan Ave, Johnson City, KS 67855).
