He is survived by: his wife Janice Carter; his children, Eric Powell (Teresa), Brad Powell (Victoria) and Diahonia "Dee" Babst (Troy); his grandchildren, Chelsee, David John (Sara), Zackary, Kyla, Brittney (Steven), Amber (Gene), Aaron, Jadika and Cadyn; and his great grandchildren, Brantley, Lillianna, Rosalie, Liam, Bailey, Gracie, Jackson, Beaux and Haizley.
