It is with great sadness that we announce the death of CSM James B. Mitchell of Junction City, Kansas, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on July 25, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mitchell and Ruby Johnson; and his son James B. Mitchell, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Wally Gob of Junction City, Kansas; and his children, Kelly Mitchell of Copperas Cove, Texas, Patrick Miramontez (Jane) of Lenexa, Kansas and Mario Miramontez of Chapman, Kansas. He is also survived by six granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
