It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Shrum of Junction City, Kansas, born in Kellogg, Iowa, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillard O. Shrum and Elva P. Shrum (Mosler); his wife Lois Ahlvers; and his siblings, Troy, Oren, Lillard and Donnie.
He is survived by: his son David (Goldana); his grandchildren, Vandetta Mongeau (Brian) of Eureka, KS, Zane Shrum of Satanta, KS, Devin Shrum and Garnett; his great grandchildren, Chandler (Lacey), Britta Mongeau, Braden and Brilee Shrum; his great great grandchild Quinn Mongeau; and his sister Carol Kasten (George) of Columbus.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church and Good Shepherd Hospice.
