It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter J. Young of Junction City, Kansas, born in Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gilman Boardman and Sarah Charlotte Young (Bacon); his wife Wanda Tramer; his son Mark Young (Leona) of Olathe, Kansas; his granddaughter Aspen; and his stepsons, Eric and Bart Tramer. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the First Presbyterian Church.
