He was predeceased by: his parents, John Irby and Mattie Irby (Johnson).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson & Mass-Hinitt Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (203 N Washington St, Junction City, KS 66441). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (1429 St Marys Rd, Junction City, KS 66441). The military honors will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery (5181 Wildcat Creek Rd, Manhattan, KS 66503).
Phil's passion for supporting his fellow veterans endeared him to many, and he will be remembered not only for his service but also for his kindness and contributions to the veteran community.
