It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Eugene Lucas of Junction City, Kansas, who passed away on May 20, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Lucas and Verla Lucas (Thompson); his grandchildren, Michael Tomsello II and Angela Palone; his nephews, Jerry Cole and Robert Lucas; and his son-in-law Michael Tomsello.
He is survived by: his significant other Janine Hanigan; his siblings, Doris Cole, Allen and Harry Lucas; and his children, Joanne Tomsello, Ellen Lucas, Stanley Lucas and George Lucas. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a few great-great-grandchildren; as well as other family and friends.
