He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillard O. Shrum and Elva P. Shrum (Mosler); his wife Lois Ahlvers; and his siblings, Troy, Oren, Lillard and Donnie.
He is survived by: his son David (Goldana); his grandchildren, Vandetta Mongeau (Brian) of Eureka, KS, Zane Shrum of Satanta, KS, Devin Shrum and Garnett; his great grandchildren, Chandler (Lacey), Britta Mongeau, Braden and Brilee Shrum; his great great grandchild Quinn Mongeau; and his sister Carol Kasten (George) of Columbus.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church and Good Shepherd Hospice.
