He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Mize and Norma L. Mize; and his son John Mize. He is survived by: his sister Mary; his aunt Patricia; and his cousin Judy Mize of Odon, IN..
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (701 N 94 St, Kansas City, KS 66112). Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Meng Family Home (616 E Elnora St, Odon, IN 47562).
