He was predeceased by: his stepsister Rebecca Dawn Graham. He is survived by: his father Raymond E. Thaxton (Babbette); his fiancée Krystal Young; his children, Johnnie and David; his mother Kathy Jo Merriott; and his brother David R. Thaxton (Ashley).
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Home and Crematory (4101 State Ave, Kansas City, KS 66102). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Highland Park Cemetery (3801 State Ave, Kansas City, KS 66102).
