She is survived by: her brother Lawrence Brooks Jr.; her children, Franchiel Nyakatura, Harold Spencer (Renee) and Marilyn Baker; her stepchildren, Sharon Smith, Cheryl Holder and Gilbert Smith Jr. (Margaret); her grandchildren, LaFrances Nyakatura (Stephan Robinson), Samantha Tafoya (Quincy), Paul Nyakatura, Ashley Baker, Amber Baker, Flora Nyakatura, Justin Baker, Sterling Spencer (Teresa), Sophia Spencer, Erica Lipp (Isaac) and Skyler Spencer; and her close friends, Evalina Davidson and Laura Heyer. She is also survived by twenty-one great-grand children; and a host of nieces, nephews.
