He is survived by: his wife Dottie; his stepchildren, Derrick, Mark and Diana Stone; his friends, Mike Gatton and Walt Zuk; his sister Carol McCarty of Lenexa, KS; his nephews, Gary McCarty (Mary Beth) and Brian McCarty (Melissa); his close friend Connie Rhoden; Dottie.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (513 Ohio Ave, Kansas City, KS 66101). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery (1150 N 38th St, Kansas City, KS 66102).
