She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Carnoali (Bud) and Louise Carnoali; her great grandchild Mason Thome; and her son-in-law Jeff Pieper. She is survived by: her husband Joe Ernst (Joe); her children, Lisa Pieper (Ernst) of Leawood, KS, Jeanne (Ernst), Liston (Tom) of Bellevue, ID and Mike Ernst (Katie) of Harker Heights, TX.; her grandchildren, Delaney (Pieper), Keaton Pieper (David Plesha), Mackenna Pieper of Las Vegas, NV, Kaylin Ernst of Belton, TX, Evan Ernst of Nacogdoches, TX and Noah Ernst of College Station, TX; her great grandchildren, Riley Thome and Madison Thome of Overland Park, KS; and her sister Joan (Carnoali) Ingino (Tony).

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (701 N 94th St, Kansas City, KS 66112). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Patrick Catholic Church (1086 N 94th St, Kansas City, KS 66112). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery (1150 N 38th St, Kansas City, KS 66102).
