She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Cole and Loraine Cole; and her siblings, LaRue, Carol, Jackie and LaRen.

She is survived by: her children, Gail Lorraine Sanders (Jessie), Robert Lee Baucom Jr. (Elsie) of Fl and JoLynn Frances Wright; her grandchildren, Schondra Baucom, Kimalee Harris, Shelbey Wallace, Jonathan Baucom, Michael Baucom, Christina Baucom and Robert Wright; and her siblings, Mother Claudia Andrus, Dr. Juana Hishaw, Mary Kennedy-Bracken (Oneal), Simon "Si" P. Cole and Branham "Benny" Cole (Tina). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.

She founded the Cole Link Foundation a nonprofit organization in 2016 in response to her ongoing desire to help and support individuals and organizations in The Arts, Health & Wellness and Educational Awareness.
