She was predeceased by: her parents, Esbon Widener and Gertrude Widener (Wehrli); her siblings, Roy Widener, Donna Campbell and Maxine Hensley-Duncan; and her son Danny James.
She is survived by: her sons, Sam James (Lana) of Blue Hill, NE, Tom James (Lisa) of Athol and Matt Lyon (Shawna) of Hays; her brother Don Widener of Colorado; and her half-siblings, Harold Widener of Salina, Junior Widener of Stockton and Shirley Widener-Lewis of Florida. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Sunporch of Smith County in Smith Center and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
