He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Garten and Doris Smith Garten; his brother Lonnie; his sister-in-law Otie; and his daughter-in-law Diana Garten.
He is survived by : his sons, Travis Garten and Curtis Garten; his grandchildren, Crystal Moots, Tyler Garten, Casey Garten, Dayla Garten and Destani Miller; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Kolbi, Tanner, Taite, Paisley, Easton, Hadley, Blakely, Truitt, Kayne and Decklyn.
Memorial donations have been suggested to Reno County Hospice, the Alzheimer's Association or USD #331/Norwich Schools, all in care of Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman, KS 67068.
