Though Gene may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Howard and Laura Esther Lantis Young; his brothers, Howard and Robert; and his sister-in-law Carol Sinnett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Taton and Laura Young; and his brothers, David Young and Lester Young. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Sumner County 4-H Development Fund and may be sent to the Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman KS 67068.
