She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward H. Kanngieser and Leona Miller Kanngieser; her children, Edward Vierthaler and Mary Hellman; her sisters, Catherine Blasi, Ruth Mantooth, Caroline Kimminau and Joyce Vierthaler; and her granddaughter Jennifer Clouse.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Nowak, Judy Jones and Karen Stucky; and her siblings, Ed Kanngieser (Lawrence Kanngiesser) and Mary Bayer. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Livingston Funeral Home (1830 N Main St, Kingman, KS 67068). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church (106 Ada St, Zenda, KS 67159).
Memorials may be made with the St. John Catholic Church, Rivercross Hospice or Wheatlands Health Care Center and may be mailed to Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman KS 67068.
