He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Silvey and Rosalie Silvey (Smith); his sister Shirley Sharpe; his father-in-law Albert Chase; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Silvey, Terry Chase, Marilyn Comer and David Summers.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Silvey (Chase); his children, Jolinda Goetz, Tressa Anderson (Troy), Janene McCormick (Tim Whitney) and Shannon Silvey (Susan); his grandchildren, Jennifer Baker (Nathan), Travis Kaufman (Jodi), Brandy Mitchell (Dusty), Brad Anderson (Jessica), Scott Anderson (Morgan), Chase McCormick (Amanda), Chandler McCormick, Adrianah Silvey and Garrett Silvey; his great grandchildren, Andrew, Cannon, Jayla Reed, Sophia, Kevin, Isabelle Kaufman, Reagan, Andi Anderson, Emma Burke, Kennedi, Hadli Baker and William White; his great great grandchild Asher Kaufman; his brothers, Jim Silvey and Travis Silvey; his brother-in-law Rick Sharpe; his mother-in-law Wilma Chase; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Johnson, Janice Summers, Mike Comer, Paul Chase and Judy Silvey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Livingston Funeral Home (1830 N Main St, Kingman, KS 67068). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made with Wheatlands Healthcare Center or Kingman Healthcare Services Oncology Department, and be sent to Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman, KS 67068.
