He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Arthur and Alta Josephine Turner Roberts; his son Jim Roberts; and his siblings, Alta Anita Wright and Thomas.

He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Roberts (Karlene) and Terry Roberts; and his daughter-in-law Betty Roberts. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
