She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ewert and Helen Ewert; and her son Mark. She is survived by: her husband Cot of Kingman, Kansas.; her sons, David (Brian Victor) and Jack (Patricia Alvarez); her grandsons, Alex, Alan and Andrés; and her brother Dick (Harriet). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon Memorial Fund.
