With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Kathleen Whitmer (Kingman, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mary Kathleen had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Mary Kathleen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clifford and Mary Frances Evans McKinney; and her siblings, James and Esther Alice Stockebrand. She is survived by: her children, Monte (Edwina), Scott (Sue) and Esther Koontz (Wendell). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Livingston Funeral Home (1830 N Main St, Kingman, KS 67068).
