He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Henning and Rosalyn "Rosie" Schwartz Henning; his nephew Jed Dick; and his siblings, Randy Henning and Sheila Dick.
He is survived by: his siblings, Geneva Henning (Gary), Sharon Nowak (Randy) and Stan Henning (Becky); his brother-in-law Ed Dick; and his close friend Felicia Ryder. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
