He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Hill Thorp and Charlotte Chlotilda Thorp (Smith); his stepfather Floyd Pickering; and his brother David Thorp. He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Thorp of Great Bend, Timothy Thorp of Kinsley, Dale Thorp (Dawn) of Kinsley, Judith Donley of Kinsley, Theresa Brokar (Bill) of Kinsley and Candiance Thorp of Kinsley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
