We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2021, at the age of 93, Francis B. Schaffer (La Crosse, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Schaffer and Barbara Schaffer (Urban); his siblings, Eleanor, Mary Jones (Schaffer), Clarence and John Schaffer; his grandson Trevor Messenger; and his son-in-law Van Brighton.

He is survived by : his children, Jan Brighton of La Crosse, KS, Colette Schauf (Burton) of Columbia, MO, Jill Bogard (Mike) of Lawrence, KS, Rory Schaffer (Janis) of Topeka, KS, Eric Schaffer of Topeka, KS and Gina Cannon (Warren) of Georgetown, TX; and his brother Raymond Schaffer of La Crosse, KS.. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren.

The family respectfully requests all visitation and memorial service attendees wear masks. Social distancing is recommended.
