William Dean Seltmann Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of William Dean Seltmann (La Crosse, Kansas). William, born on September 13, 1941, passed away on September 28, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Dean Seltmann to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, ElVerne Seltmann and Mary Seltmann (Wilt); his former wife Nikki Williams; and his sister Donna Seltmann. He is survived by: his daughters, Heidi Schlautman (Joe), Hollie Hall (Joe) and Heather Cole (Joe); his grandchildren, Makinsey Schlautman, Joe Hall III, Cole Schlautman, Karley Schlautman, Jorryn Hall, Cade Schlautman, Joss Hall, Jagger Hall, Adilynn Cole, Brielle Cole and Carmela Cole; and his siblings, Shirley Opp, Lyle Seltmann, Terry Seltmann (Cynthia), Rita Taylor (John), Tim Seltmann (Marcia) and Kerrie Schnell (Ralph).

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the La Crosse Seventh-Day Adventists Church (804 Columbia St, La Crosse, KS 67548).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to LaCrosse Elementary School for teaching supplies.
