It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Lee Darnell of Lakin, Kansas, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parent Lyda Mae Darnell (McClaskey) of Las Animas; his wife Thelma Louise Darnell (Miller); and his father Walter E Darnell. He is survived by : his children, Janet (Bill), Sandra (Ty) and Dwayne "Buddy" Darnell (Stacey); his siblings, Jim (Donna), Robert Darnell Las (Ruth), Fred Darnell, Thelma, Ruby Carpenter of Pueblo, CO, Hazel Lathers of Pueblo, CO, Betty Potter of Las Animas, CO and Walter E. Darnell Jr. of Goodland, KS; and his sister-in-law Roxana Darnell of Las Animas, CO.. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
